The BBC is set to release to of its biggest recent dramas on DVD. Monday the 16th of June sees the DVD release of Series 1 of Sally Wainwright's exceptional drama series Happy Valley along with the DVD and Blu-Ray release of Series 2 of the award winning drama In the Flesh.

Following its successful debut as a three-part drama, In The Flesh was recommissioned for a six episode series for BBC Three. All nine episodes from the first and second series will be available to own on BBC DVD and Blu-ray for the first time from 9th June and are available to pre-order from www.bbcshop.co.uk.

Reticent about the details, Kevin loses his nerve. The crime he was trying to report was his own brain-child, a plot to kidnap his boss's daughter and keep enough of the ransom to put his kids through private school. And now local drug king-pin Ashley Cowgill (Joe Armstrong) has put the plan into action, and Kevin's fantasy has become a grim and dangerous reality. Happy Valley has gripped viewers on a Tuesday Nights with its grim realism and unexpected twists. Sarah Lancashire steals the show as feisty Catherine, a seemingly fearless policewoman who is still grieving following her young daughter's tragic suicide.

Also coming to DVD this June is ITV's high octane three-part drama Prey. This fast paced fugitive story stars John Simm as Policeman Marcus Farrow. Farrow is forced to go in the run when his wife and young son are found dead at his family home.
