8.00pm The Billion Pound Base: Dismantling Camp Bastion Channel 4 -   For eight years it's been the powerhouse of UK and US military operations. Now Britain's biggest overseas base since World War II is closing down for good. Channel 4 was given exclusive access to the men and women whose job it was to pack up this giant jigsaw puzzle, ending one of the longest wars in British history.
Monday
11.30am Oxford Street Revealed BBC1 - Observational documentary series following the people who keep Oxford Street running. The police crack down on unlicensed rickshaw drivers flouting highway rules and taking advantage of visitors.
3.40pm Christmas Kitchen with James Martin BBC1 - To get viewers in the Christmas cooking spirit, James Martin is joined in the kitchen by Ching-He Huang and Brian Turner. Plus celebrity guests and treats from the BBC's festive food archives.
7.30pm The Royal Variety Performance 2014 ITV - Michael McIntyre hosts this year's Royal Variety Performance from the London Palladium in the presence of TRH The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge. The star studded line up includes special performances from Bette Midler, Ed Sheeran, One Direction, Dame Shirley Bassey, Demi Lovato, Alfie Boe, Ellie Goulding, McBusted, Ladysmith Black Mambazo, Simply Red and Britain's Got Talent winners Collabro. The cast of legendary West End musical Miss Saigon perform an exclusive excerpt from the show, and the spectacular circus of La Soiree take to the stage. Comedians Jack Whitehall, Trevor Noah, Russell Kane and Sarah Millican provide the laughs
8.00pm Jamie's Cracking Christmas Channel 4 - Christmas is the perfect time of year for enjoying delicious and decadent treats with your very favourite people. Jamie Oliver wants to show how to wow friends and families with amazing recipes to raise your Christmas spread to the next level. Back at home in his Essex kitchen, Jamie makes a selection of his favourite dishes, from family gatherings to party time specials, including beef Wellington, chocolate and marmalade panettone bread and butter tart, steamed goose buns, cheeky Christmas cocktails and roast goose with all the trimmings.

8.00pm Kirstie's Handmade Christmas Channel 4 - It's Christmas, and in a role to rival that of Mother Christmas, Kirstie Allsopp is at the centre of her own glittering festive grotto located at Blenheim Palace's magical Christmas fair. In this seasonal celebration of classic and contemporary crafts Kirstie is joined by top crafters from across the UK for a Christmas special.
9.00pm My Big Fat Gypsy Christmas: Tinsel and Tiaras Channel 4 - From the bride-to-be planning her own spectacular Christmas-themed wedding to the Irish Traveller family heading back to the Emerald Isle, and the young entrepreneur planning a Gypsy-only Christmas party, the film is a timely reminder that nobody does Christmas bling quite like Gypsies and Travellers.
9.00pm Kid's Hospital at Christmas Five - Three-part series following staff and patients at the Royal Manchester Children's Hospital over the festive season.
9.00pm Our War: Goodbye Afghanistan BBC3 - Marking the end of the British campaign in Helmand, this documentary tells the story of the Afghanistan war through the words and pictures of the soldiers who fought it.
10.00pm Brian Pern: A Life in Rock BBC2 - Spoof documentary following ageing rock star Brian Pern, former front-man of of the progressive rock group Thotch. Brian and his bandmates reunite to discuss the making of their first ever jukebox musical, Stowe Boys.
Wednesday
8.00pm I'm a Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here: The Coming Out Show ITV - Show following this year's celebrities from the moment they step foot off the legendary bridge, to the emotional reunions with their family and friends. It also captures their reactions as they spend their first night back in luxury.
9.00pm The Last Honour of Christopher Jefferises ITV - First of a two-part drama based on a true story. Retired schoolteacher Christopher Jefferies's quiet life in Bristol is turned upside down when police question him about the disappearance of his young tenant Jo Yeates. When her tragic murder becomes a major news story, the press seize upon him as a suspect, despite the lack of evidence, with destructive results. Concludes Tomorrow.
9.00pm Bear's Wild Weekend with Ben Stiller Channel 4 - Famed adventurer and survivalist Bear Grylls is partnered with actor and director Ben Stiller for a 48-hour journey of a lifetime in this special programme. They endure a harsh wilderness in a high-octane, action-filled trek across a wild and remote location, pushing both their minds and bodies to the limit to successfully complete the journey.
9.00pm How Safe Are My Drugs? BBC3 - With more people taking a wider range of drugs than ever before, Radio 1 DJ B Traits meets users and dealers to find out how much they really know about their drugs - and whether they're safe. After a decade working in some of the biggest clubs in the world, she worries that many people have no idea what they're taking, and are being sold drugs that aren't what they think. With access to high profile clubs in Britain and Ibiza, and to emergency services struggling to deal with the latest compounds they know little about, she explores why drug-related deaths in the UK have suddenly increased, and how much that's down to the rapid growth of legal highs.

From a home infested with twinkling fully decorated Christmas trees and another covered in 200,000 lights to a couple competing for space with their collections of snowpeople and nutcrackers and the couple with America's largest collection of Christmas inflatables, this film reveals how much time, money and energy they spend bring festive cheer to their neighbourhoods.
11.00pm A&E in a War Zone Channel 4 - This documentary follows senior British trauma surgeon David Nott as he makes the perilous journey across the border into Syria to work alongside the heroic Syrian doctors who have remained behind. He carries out life-saving surgery in a hospital forced underground by daily bombardment. Amid the horror, these medical teams risk their lives to save others.
Thursday
8.00pm The BBC Music Awards BBC1 - Chris Evans and Fearne Cotton present the first ever BBC Music Awards live from Earl's Court Arena, featuring some of the biggest songs of the year performed on a spectacular stage by an incredible lineup including Coldplay, One Direction, Ed Sheeran, Paloma Faith, Calvin Harris, Take That, George Ezra, Ella Henderson, Labrinth, Clean Bandit and surprise guests.
Friday
8.30pm Mary Berry's Absolute Christmas Favourites BBC2 - In this two-part series, Mary Berry draws on her wealth of cookery know-how and shares a selection of her absolute favourite Christmas recipes. In this episode she shows how to get ahead for the Christmas season.
9.00pm Canterbury Cathedral BBC2 - The first in a series covering a year in the life of Canterbury Cathedral. The new archbishop Justin Welby celebrates his first Christmas, the cathedral's Great South Window is taken down for restoration and a new girls' choir makes its mark after 1,400 years of male domination.
9.00pm A Night with Olly Murs ITV - Singer Olly Murs is joined by stand-up comedian and actor John Bishop, TV presenter - and Olly's former Xtra Factor cohort - Caroline Flack, and singer Nicole Scherzinger for a one-off entertainment extravaganza.
