Wednesday
9.00pm Against the Law  BBC2 - One-off fact-based drama based on the 1954 trial of journalist Peter Wildblood who was tried for homosexual offences alongside his friends Lord Montagu and Michael Pitt-Rivers. The drama stars Daniel Mays and Mark Gatis and is interspersed with real testimonies from gay men who lived through this period.
9.00pm Long Lost Family ITV - Davina McCall and Nicky Campbell return for the reunion show; this first episode includes a divorced couple searching for the son they were forced to give up when they were teenagers.
9.00pm Don't Tell the Bride E4 - The factual entertainment show switches channels once again as another hapless groom tries to plan a wedding for his future bride without any input from his beloved.

Thursday
9.00pm Top of the Lake: China Girl BBC2 - Elisabeth Moss returns as Detective Robin Griffin; who returns to Sydney to solve the mystery of an Asian girl found in a suitcase whilst at the same time reuniting with the daughter she gave up when she was a teenager. Gwendoline Christie and Nicole Kidman co-star in Jane Campion's drama with the entire series being available to watch on iPlayer after this episode has finished.
9.00pm Inside the London Fire Brigade ITV - Documentary series following a year in the life of the London Fire Brigade, with this first episode beginning with first-hand accounts of last month's Greenfell Tower tragedy including descriptions of what happened inside the building.
Friday
9.00pm Big Brother: The Final Channel 5 - After almost eight weeks, Emma Willis reveals who has been crowned champion of this year's Big Brother.
