The BBC have announced that The Voice UK is to have a spin-off show which will air during the live stages of the programme.
In a similar fashion to Strictly Come Dancing's It Takes Two; The Voice's spin-off show will air Monday to Friday at 6:30pm on BBC Two and promises to provide an 'Access all Areas' pass to the series. The show will be hosted by Zoe Ball, who also hosts It Takes Two, and will be packed with exclusive interviews, special live performances from the finalists and all the behind the scenes gossip.
Speaking of her role on the show Zoe Ball comments, "I'm super excited to be involved in The Voice UK, and I’m doing some star jumps and squats to limber up for action as I speak. Fans can think of me as the nosey naughty one who can ask questions we all want answering by their favourite acts and of course Kylie, Tom, will.i.am and Ricky. I shall bring everyone a little closer to the action and I promise not to sing!”
Series three of The Voice UK has been a ratings success with the first episode receiving an audience larger than any week during series two. Last Saturday's instalment of The Voice UK peaked at a whopping ten million viewers and the new coaching line-up has also been heralded as a critical success.
The Voice UK continues on Saturday night while the spin-off show will air later in the year
