Murs was a popular choice when it was recently announced long time host Dermot O'Leary would be leaving the show he'd hosted since 2007. Murs apparently was keen to get his former Xtra Factor co-host Flack on board. The pair are now both confirmed as the new hosts. It was recently reported that Louis Walsh was 'done' with the show and won't be returning alongside Simon Cowell and Cheryl Fernandez-Versini. It has yet to be confirmed if Spice Girl Mel B will be reprising her role on the judging panel or whether Walsh will be coaxed back.
The X Factor returns in August on ITV.
