At its recent Upfronts Event Channel 4 announced the arrival of several new programmes as well as confirming the returns of popular factual entertainment series Hunted and SAS: Who Dares Wins.
The second series of Hunted will follow a similar format but will this time see the fugitives attempt to win a share of £100,000 if they are able to evade the hunters for 28 days.
Meanwhile SAS: Who Dares Win will return with the same ex-Special Forces team but this time will see them put a group of civilians through the jungle phase of Selection. The jungle phase ups the pressure on recruits after the Wales-based tasks seen in the first series.
Channel 4 have also announced the production of a new four-part documentary series that will go behind the scenes of one of the nation's favourite retail brands. Inside Marks and Spencer, will demonstrate how a new product is created for the shelves of M&S and will look at the fashion and food departments as well as delving onto the shop floor.
Finally, Channel 4 revealed the details of a new ground-breaking drama that is set to air within the next year. Born to Kill is written by Tracey Malone and Kate Ashfield and is a haunting exploration into the mind of a teenage boy trying to suppress his psychopathic tendencies whilst falling in love for the first time.
All four of these series are expected to debut some time in 2016.
