Katherine Ryan hints at more How'd You Get So Rich.

Katherine Ryan's Channel 4 documentary series How Did You Get So Rich? is to return for a second series.

The comedian has revealed that pre-production is again underway on the interview format with the super-wealthy.

We're going into second season of that shortly” she told US podcast Allegedly with Theo Von and Matthew Cole Weiss.

A look at how self-made millionaires and billionaires acquired their fortune, How Did You Get So Rich? first aired in March and featured six 45-minute episodes.

Based on a US reality series hosted by the late Joan Rivers, it followed Ryan as she spoke to subjects including a mobster-turned-preacher, the richest plumber in Britain, sex toy moguls and a 10-year-old girl who made her first million by age six.

Made by CPL Productions, when the first series was announced Ryan said: “I want to know how somebody gets super rich, and what that lifestyle looks like from the inside. I hope not to offend, as a multi-millionaire could have me killed quite easily.”

A panel show regular, the Canadian comic is a judge on Comedy Central's forthcoming Roast Battle UK, alongside Russell Brand and host Jimmy Carr. She and Carr also host the channel's revived dating show Your Face Or Mine?

A spokesperson for Channel 4 said that they could reveal “no news at this stage” about How Did You Get So Rich's return.
