9.15pm The Wall BBC One - Return of the game show hosted by Danny Dyer, in which contestants answer questions that combine knowledge, strategy and luck for the chance to win life-changing prizes.

Sunday

8.00pm Top Gear BBC One - Freddie Flintoff, Chris Harris and Paddy McGuinness return with the motoring magazine, beginning by heading to Paddy's home town of Bolton to test three new company cars by spending 24 hours in them - with no getting out. Plus, Chris heads to Italy to put the Ferrari SF90 supercar through its paces.

8.00pm Michael Palin: Travels of a Lifetime BBC Two - Michael Palin revisits his travel series, beginning with Around the World in 80 Days. He draws on his personal archive of audio recordings and diary notebooks, and reflects on how he became a seasoned global traveller. The first episode revisits his visits to Venice, Cairo, Saudi Arabia, India, Hong Kong and China - a nation that was closed to most westerners at the time. Featuring contributions from fans and friends including David Attenborough, Joanna Lumley and Simon Reeve.

9.00pm 25 Siblings & Me BBC Two - Documentary that follows Oli, a young man with Asperger's syndrome, who overnight discovered he has 25 siblings from the same American sperm donor dad. Desperate to be part of this new family, Oli travels to the USA, meeting his donor and joining a mass sibling reunion.

Monday

9.00pm Me, My Brother and Our Balls BBC One - Documentary in which Love Island star Chris Hughes and his brother Ben explore male fertility, looking at why the subject is not taken seriously enough. They meet one of the UK's leading experts for a step-by-step guide to sperm, hear how infertility affects masculinity from a GB Olympic rower, and consider how their fertility struggles could impact on their family, and their girlfriends, in the long term.

9.00pm In the Face of Terror BBC Two - Documentary following the stories of ordinary people fighting for truth and justice following acts of terror. The first one featured is a hostage crisis in Syria that culminated in seven beheadings by a British executioner, later dubbed Jihadi John, while the second looks at the far-right attack in Christchurch, New Zealand, in which 51 people were shot dead in the city's mosques.

9.00pm Prince William: A Planet For Us All ITV - Documentary following the Duke of Cambridge as he embarks on a campaign to champion global action on conservation and climate change. As he meets inspiring local heroes around Britain and the world, he sees an opportunity to become a bridge between the young people who are crying out for change and the leaders and policy-makers who can make it happen.

9.00pm 999:What's Your Emergency? Channel 4 - The return of the documentary following the work of emergency services, with this edition focusing on the decline of the Great British high street and looking at how the nation's town centres are becoming hotbeds of antisocial behaviour, crime and violence. In Northamptonshire, PCs Louise O'Sullivan and Sean Whelan attend a call from a distraught homeless man, who has taken refuge in a shop after being threatened with a knife.

9.00pm PEN15 Sky Comedy - Second season of the US comedy. Two days after the dance, Maya and Anna reluctantly go to a pool party. But when a crush shows up, questions are raised about their sanity and reputations.

10.00pm Adult Material Channel 4 - New drama series starring Haley Squires as Jolene Dollar - real name Hayley Burrows - is a poster girl for the porn industry and the proud breadwinner in her family. Her world is shaken, however, when she learns a dark figure from her past is coming to the UK to collaborate with her oldest colleague and close friend. Rupert Everett and Julian Ovenden co-star.

Tuesday

7.00pm Dog School Five - Series going behind the scenes at Bruce's Doggy Day Care in Surrey and Dogs Country Club in Warrington to find out what our four-legged friends get up to. 

9.00pm Surgeons: At the Edge of Life BBC Two - David Jenkins, a world-leading surgeon at Royal Papworth, performs one of the most demanding operations possible, draining a patient's body of blood to remove clots in her lungs. At Addenbrooke's hospital, consultant orthopaedic surgeon Andrew Carrothers is also pushing at the boundaries of medical science with a complex operation that he has devised called the Harrington Plus. Frustrated by the lack of options for patients whose pelvis and hip bones have been badly weakened by cancer, Andrew added a crucial stage to an existing operation to enable cancer patients to walk again.

9.00pm Alison Hammond: Back to School ITV - Alison Hammond travels across the country and back in time on an historical journey to discover some of the black figures who have been hidden from Britain's history, throwing light on their extraordinary stories and achievements.

9.30pm Married At First Sight Channel 4 - The four applicants meet their match, chosen by a panel of experts. However, primary school teacher Michelle finds that her mother does not approve of her plans to marry IT sales manager Owen immediately. Elsewhere, divorced parents Shareen and David hope to find love second time around and create a blended family for the five children they have between them.

10.45pm Sorry, I Didn't Know ITV - Panel show with a twist, hosted by Jimmy Akingbola, with team captains Chizzy Akudolu and Judi Love and guests unveiling interesting Black history facts along the way. The first episode features Tom Allen, Colin Salmon, Angie Le Mar and Paul Chowdhry.

Wednesday

9.00pm Murder Case BBC Two - Return of the documentary that goes behind the scenes on the most complex murder and large-scale criminal investigations in Scotland. The detectives investigate the case of 37-year-old Paul Mathieson, who was assaulted and found fighting for his life on a street in Renfrew. The victim of a brutal assault, Paul succumbs to his horrific injuries, and the investigators of Police Scotland's Major Investigations Team take up the case. Concludes Tomorrow at 9.00pm

9.00pm Tommy Alibi - Short-lived US drama series starring Edie Falco. Abigail 'Tommy' Thomas becomes the first female Chief of Police for the LAPD and steps into her job surrounded by her predecessor's staff.

Thursday

8.00pm Inside the Factory BBC Two - Gregg Wallace visits a cherry Bakewell factory in Stoke on Trent that produces 250,000 tarts every day, and meets the team of 12 employed to precisely place the cherries on top by hand. Cherry Healey learns the tricks of avoiding a soggy pastry bottom when baking at home, and visits a factory where almonds are roasted and milled to make butter.

8.00pm The Truth About Your Sandwich Channel 4 - Helen Skelton investigates Britain's sandwich industry, investigating the hygiene conditions in high street chains and sandwich production plants, and how cuts to hospital budgets and food inspection budgets could be putting the public at risk. She also asks whether consumers can trust the nutritional levels advertised on the sandwiches they buy.

9.00pm Friday on the Farm Five - Helen Skelton and Jules Hudson say goodbye to the summer and welcome in the autumn with all the week's action from Cannon Hall Farm in South Yorkshire.

10.00pm Guessable Five - Sara Pascoe hosts this comedy game show, in which teams captained by Alan Davies and Darren Harriott compete to identify the famous name or object inside a mystery box. In this first edition, presenter Clare Balding and comedians Jason Manford, Russell Kane and Dane Baptiste are welcomed into the Comedy Central loft to join in the fun.
