8.00pm Billy Monger: Changing Gear Channel 4 - The racing driver and double amputee trains alongside Paralympic athletes in a variety of disciplines. He swims in open water with Alice Tai and canoes with Charlotte Henshaw, before being fitted with running blades, under the guidance of Paralympic legend Jonnie Peacock. After learning to run again, he revisits Donington, the site of the accident where he lost his legs, for a sprint along the track.

9.00pm The Wimbledon Kidnapping Sky Crime - A look back at the mysterious disappearance of Muriel McKay in Wimbledon in 1969, and the 50th anniversary of the trial of the first-ever kidnap and ransom case in Britain.

9.30pm Dad's Army: Secret Lives & Scandal Channel 5 - Behind the scenes of the comedy, revealing what the cast were like in real life and telling the stories of some of their own heroic efforts in the two world wars. Featuring interviews with some of the original cast and their wives and children, who give an insight into the drinking, the affairs, the personal problems and the tragedies that befell them during nine series of the show.

9.00pm When Ruby Wax Met.. BBC Two - The comedian revisits memorable interviews she conducted for her various BBC shows in the 1990s, re-evaluating fame and infamy and comparing the end of the 20th century with today. The first edition features Donald Trump, OJ Simpson, Carrie Fisher, Goldie Hawn and Tom Hanks.

10.15pm Covid Lab Channel 4 - Documentary in which scientists examine theories about the origins of the virus, including the claims that it was the result of a leak in a virology lab in Wuhan. Including testimony from Professor David Relman, a member of President Biden's intelligence team, and Sir John Bell, Regius Chair of Medicine at the University of Oxford.

Monday

8.30pm Secret Spenders Channel 4 - Anita Rani presents a show in which hidden cameras document the spending habits of cash-strapped people, while financial experts Emmanuel Asuquo and Anna Whitehouse go through every detail of their lives to help them downsize their expenses. The first episode features a man from Southampton whose wife despairs of his constant deliveries and taste in expensive collectibles.

9.00pm Horizon: China's Magic Weapon BBC Two

9.00pm Summer of Wild Weather: Is Worse to Come? Channel 4 - Footage from around the world of extreme weather in the summer of 2021, including the `heat dome" of North America, floods in Germany, Belgium and Iran, and monumental landslides in Japan and India. Reporter Morland Sanders examines scientists' theories on what is causing these events, and asks if the UK is prepared for the possibility of worse conditions to come.

9.00pm Tsunami: Impact Channel 5 - Xand van Tulleken and Raksha Dave tell the dramatic story of the tsunami on Boxing Day 2004 that killed more than 250,000 people, revealing how the catastrophe unfolded. They begin 12 hours before the disaster on Christmas Day, when holidaymakers across Asia were enjoying blissful breaks, unaware that calamity was heading their way as two tectonic plates in the Indian Ocean that had been pushing together for millions of years were about to rupture. Continues Tomorrow, Concludes Wednesday at 9.00pm.

8.00pm Saving Lives at Sea BBC Two - In Porthcawl, the volunteers of the RNLI race to save a surfer at the mercy of Storm Brendan. Meanwhile, in Selsey, a family's day out for a spot of paddleboarding goes badly awry when the father becomes separated from his young children, leaving them stranded on a rapidly dwindling sandbank.

8.00pm Love Your Garden Special ITV - Alan Titchmarsh shares the secrets of creating a Cottage Garden and reveals for the first time his own tribute to the classic style - an eye-popping mixed border that he has painstakingly created in his own garden. 

9.00pm Unbelievable Moments Caught on Camera ITV - Alexander Armstrong narrates video clips from across the globe, as those behind the fascinating stories share their memories of these once-in-a-lifetime experiences.

9.00pm Britainia Sky Atlantic - Return of the historical drama. In the wilds of Britannia, Cait considers her next move, while Ania and Willa broker a meeting between Veran and Aulus.

10.00pm The Last Leg of Tokyo 2020 Channel 4 - Adam Hills, Josh Widdicombe and Alex Brooker present a comic review of the Paralympic highlights from Tokyo, with roving reporter Rosie Jones in the Japanese capital. Adam, Alex and Josh also have a shot themselves and compete in 12 Paralympic sports filmed at the London Olympic Stadium across three days, including wheelchair tennis, blind running, archery, wheelchair volleyball, kayaking, swimming, blind cycling and more.

Wednesday

8.00pm Extreme Food Phobias W - Dr Ranj Singh and his team offer help and support to the UK's most severe food phobics. A mum tries to overcome her anxieties so she can eat meals with her family.

9.00pm H2O: The Molecule That Made Us BBC Four - Documentary exploring the importance of water to civilisation, beginning with a look at how just a few drops can cause deserts to bloom, create rivers in the air and drive the great animal migrations.

9.00pm Great Canal Journeys More4 - Sheila Hancock and Gyles Brandreth are back on the barge to explore the Cambridgeshire Fens. 

10.35pm Gossip Girl BBC One - Revival of the US drama centring on a new generation of teenagers at a New York private school whose lives are dominated by social media. As the school year begins, a new student at Constance St Jude's finds herself thrust into the spotlight, while a mysterious presence threatens the status quo.

Thursday

7.00pm Secrets of the Fast Food Giants Channel 5 - Alexis Conran finds out how takeaway shops keep us coming back for more - and what we can do to get more for our money. In this opening episode, Alexis is joined by Essex takeaway lovers Rob and Della. They join in taste tests and DIY cooking experiments to help him demonstrate the tricks and hints he learns on his travels. His first mission is to get inside the world of fried chicken.

9.00pm Sixteen: Class of 2021 Channel 4 - As the pandemic hists, cameras monitor the most challenging period in living memory, juggling lockdowns, testing and exam chaos at the Link Academy, Dudley. The school's Year 11 pupils were given their own cameras to record their final year with personal video diaries. This series documents their lives as they prepare to make major decisions about their future in the midst of the public health crisis. In the first episode, it's September 2020 and, after six months away from classrooms, the students return for their final year. However, the threat of being forced back home remains.
