NEWS Roundup: I'm a Celeb, Peacock, I Talk Telly Awards, 'Riches' Cast.

 ITV have confirmed the ten celebrities entering the Welsh Castle for the upcoming series of I'm a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here! 

They include former Strictly judge Arlene Phillips, Presenter Richard Madeley and Footballer David Ginola. They will be joined by music stars Naughty Boy and Frankie Bridge. BBC Breakfast host Louise Minchin, Emmerdale star Danny Miller, Radio 1Xtra DJ Snoochie Shy and Olympians Matty Lee and Kadeena Cox. The series will be hosted by Ant & Dec and will begin on Sunday 21st November on ITV.

The nominees for the seventh annual I Talk Telly Awards have been announced. Voting is now open with the year's biggest shows up for nomination. Our favourites include Mare of Easttown which is nominated in best International Drama alongside Succession, Pose and Netflix juggernaut, Squid Game.  It's a Sin's Lydia West, is nominated for Best Dramatic Performance but it's a category that also recognises the brilliance of Jodie Comer in Help, Kate Winslet in Mare of Easttown, MJ Rodriguez in Pose, Olly Alexander in It's a Sin and  Sean Bean in Time. Another incredibly tough category to pick a winner in is Best Breakthrough. It's a Sin stars Olly Alexander, Omari Douglas and Callum Scott Howells are all nominated alongside Alma's Not Normal star and creator Sophie Willan and comedian Rosie Jones. Voting is open now HERE  Voting is now open until 11.59pm on Wednesday 24th November with winners announced on italktelly.com on Wednesday 8th December.

Sky has confirmed that US streaming Service Peacock will be available on Sky and NOWTV for no extra cost from Tuesday 16th November. The streamer, which is a streamer created to showcase the back catalogue of US network NBC, will launch with favourites like Parks & Recreation, 30 Rock and The American version of The Office plus dramas like Friday Night Lights and Heroes. The streamer is also the home of Peacock Originals like the new take on Saved By the Bell which stars many of the original cast members, comedy Girls5Eva and the upcoming Joe Exotic drama series.

ITV has confirmed the judging lineup for the upcoming singing competition Walk the Line. The series sees one music act win a life-changing prize pot of £500,000. The musical acts - be they soloists, duos or bands - will take to the stage to perform for the nation, with panellists Gary Barlow, Alesha Dixon, Dawn French and Craig David watching on from their front row seats. But to win the money, talent alone isn’t enough. The contestants will need nerves of steel as they determine whether to cash out or physically Walk The Line and risk it all to stay in the competition. The series is the brainchild of Simon Cowell and is expected later this year.

Channel 4 has reached an agreement with Love Productions to keep The Great British Bake-Off with the channel until 2024. The multi-award-winning show created by Love Productions, a Sky Studios company, first aired on Channel 4 in 2017. It is consistently one of the biggest shows for the Channel with last year’s final watched by 11.5 million people, a 41.8% share of the viewing audience. The current series is averaging 8.7 million viewers per episode making it second only to Strictly Come Dancing as the most-watched unscripted show of the year, and the biggest first-run unscripted series on All 4 this year. The show is popular with younger viewers, the first episode of the current series had the biggest 16-34 share for a launch episode on Channel 4 with a consolidated share of 65.8%, and to date, the current series is TV’s biggest non-scripted title of the year for the 16-34 age group. The agreement also secures the future of Bake Off: An Extra Slice, Junior Bake Off, Bake Off: The Professionals, The Great Celebrity Bake Off for Stand Up To Cancer and The Great Pottery Throw Down. The news comes as it was also announced that key cast members of Channel 4 drama It's a Sin will be taking part in a festive edition of the show this Christmas.

Amazon has revealed the first images ahead of the fourth season of The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel. In season 3, Midge (Rachel Brosnahan) and Susie (Alex Borstein) discovered that life on tour with Shy (Leroy McClain) was glamorous but humbling, and they learned a lesson about show business they’ll never forget. Season 4 is expected early next year on Amazon.

ITV have confirmed the cast for six-part drama Riches. Deborah Ayorinde (Them, Truth Be Told) stars as Nina, the estranged daughter of self-made millionaire Stephen Richards played by Hugh Quarshie (Stephen, The Murder of Stephen Lawrence). Sarah Niles (Ted Lasso, I May Destroy You) plays Stephen’s second wife, Claudia, and Brendan Coyle (Downton Abbey, Requiem) is Stephen’s trusted advisor and confidante, Gideon. Hermione Norris (Cold Feet) will play Stephen’s long-standing and faithful PA, Maureen Dawson. Riches focuses upon the exploits of the brash, super-successful and wealthy Richards family, and is written and created by Abby Ajayi (How To Get Away With Murder, Four Weddings And A Funeral, Inventing Anna).
