It’s the time of year when US networks announce their new shows and where each one will be sitting in the schedules. Here’s our guide to the new shows hitting US screens soon.

Supergirl (Monday CBS)

Born on the planet Krypton, Kara Zor-El escaped amid its destruction years ago with her famous cousin. Now at the age 24, she finally embraces her superhuman abilities to be the hero she was always meant to be.

Minority Report (Monday Fox)

Based on the international blockbuster film by executive producer Steven Spielberg and the first of his films to be adapted for television, the series follows the unlikely partnership between a man haunted by the future and a cop haunted by her past, as they race to stop the worst crimes of the year 2065 before they happen. Set in Washington, D.C., it is 10 years after the demise of Precrime, a law enforcement agency tasked with identifying and eliminating criminals…before their crimes were committed. To carry out this brand of justice, the agency used three precogs – “precognitives” Dash, Arthur and Agatha – who were able to see the future. Now, in 2065, crime-solving is different, and justice leans more on sophisticated and trusted technology than on the instincts of the precogs.

Blindspot (Monday NBC)

Starring Jaimie Alexander — A vast international plot explodes when a beautiful Jane Doe is discovered naked in Times Square, completely covered in mysterious, intricate tattoos with no memory of who she is or how she got there. There’s one that’s very clear, however: the name of FBI agent Kurt Weller, emblazoned across her back. “Jane,” Agent Weller and rest of the FBI quickly realize that each mark on her body is a crime to solve, leading them closer to the truth about her identity and the mysteries to be revealed.

The Muppets (Tuesday ABC)

Modern more adult version of the Muppet Show

The Grinder (Tuesday Fox)

Comedy about a famous TV lawyer who decides to move back home and join his family’s real law firm – despite having no formal education, no bar certification, no license to practice and no experience in an actual courtroom.

Heartbreaker (Tuesday NBC)

Series about a one of the few female heart surgeons.

Scream Queens (Tuesday Fox)

The new anthology series revolves around a college campus which is rocked by a series of murders and is set in a sorority house.

The Guide to Surviving to Life (Tuesday Fox)

Comedy that explores what we all go through on our way to figuring out what life is all about. Cooper Barrett still doesn’t have the job he wants; he’s accidentally fallen in love with his across-the-hall neighbor, Kelly Bishop; one of his roommates, Neal just can’t seem to dump his bodybuilder girlfriend; his other roommate, Barry is a “loveable jackass” who can’t stop getting into trouble; and his 40-year-old-brother, Josh, a married father of two, is constantly popping in to come hang with the fellas. The one thing they do have is each other.

Best Time Ever with Neil Patrick Harris (Tuesday NBC)

Remake of Ant & Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway fronted by the How I Met Your Mother star.

Quantico (Tuesday ABC)

Drama series centering around a diverse group of recruits who are arriving for training at the FBI Quantico Base. They are the best, the brightest and the most vetted, so it seems impossible that one of them is suspected of masterminding the biggest attack on New York City since 9/11.

Limitless (Tuesday CBS)

Based on the 2011 feature, Limitless follows Brian Finch as he discovers the power of the mysterious drug NZT. In this new drama from executive producer Bradley Cooper, explore what happens when a man unlocks his limitless potential.

Rosewood (Wednesday Fox)

Drama series focusing on Beaumont Rosewood Junior, the most brilliant private pathologist in Miami, who uses his wildly sophisticated autopsy lab, to perform for-hire autopsies to uncover clues that the Miami PD can’t see.

Code Black (Wednesday CBS)

Medical drama set at Angels Memorial Hospital, the busiest ER in the nation. A “code black” occurs when there are more patients than resources, and you’re either praying for a miracle or performing one.

The Player (Thursday NBC)

Thriller set in LasVegas about a former military operative turned security expert who is drawn into a high-stakes game where an organization of wealthy individuals gamble on his ability to stop some of the biggest crimes imaginable from playing out.

People Are Talking (Friday NBC)

Comedy about two diverse couples, who are both neighbors and best friends. As they go through life side by side, they can’t help but analyze and obsess about EVERYTHING. From topics like sex and race, to the fact that the trusted new babysitter might just be a porn star, nothing is out of bounds for this wildly outspoken foursome.

DR. Ken (Friday ABC)

Doctor turned actor/comedian Ken Jeong plays Dr. Ken, a brilliant physician with no bedside manner. He is always trying to be a good doctor, as well as a good husband and dad to his two kids. Luckily, his therapist wife Allison is just the right partner to keep things sane.
