Channel 4 recommissions The Undateables

Channel 4 have announced that The Undateables will return for a fifth series in 2016.

The current run of The Undateables has been incredibly successful for the Channel with the first episode garnering consolidated ratings of 3.2 million. It was also Channel 4’s most tweeted about show of the week with 31,000 people discussing the show.

Series Four has also featured the first Undateables wedding with Brent and Challis tying the knot, the first baby and an engagement.

The Undateables series five will follow new extraordinary singletons looking for love. The series will also include catch ups to see how previous daters’ love lives have progressed.

Channel 4’s Factual Entertainment commissioning editor Lucy Leveugle said of the news, “The Undateables is a Channel 4 series through and through, and its universal theme of love continues to see viewers engage with disability. We are all extremely proud of its legacy with proposals and weddings.”
