The Custard TV continue their coverage of the Edinburgh International TV Festival with highlights of the talk given by ITV controller Peter Fincham this afternoon.

. He didn’t confirm the return of Cold Feet but said he would never say never

. He said that The Voice was contracted to the BBC and ITV weren’t going to pursue it for the moment.

. He voiced his excitement at the upcoming season of drama with special mention given to Jekyll and Hyde and Unforgotten.

. He was surprised at how popular You’re Back in the Room turned out to be and was also pleased with the success of Ninja Warrior UK.

. He gave special mention to Bring Back Borstal and was upset that it didn’t perform better in the ratings.

. He didn’t think that were too many celebrity-led documentaries and saw the likes of Joanna Lumley’s recent Trans-Siberian Adventure as a high quality travel show.
