EastEnders to head ‘Back to Ours’

To commemorate its 30th anniversary EastEnders have announced plans for a web series that sees cast members watching their memorable scenes and discussing them with each other.

The series which will be available online next year is to be titled  EastEnders: Back to Ours – will see the actors view scenes from their on-screen homes while sharing memories and behind the scenes stories. Shane Richie and Jessie Wallace have signed up for an episode alongside other big EastEnders names like  Nitin Ganatra and Himesh Patel. The exclusive episodes will début online during the 30th anniversary celebrations in February.

Victoria Jaye, Head of TV Content for BBC iPlayer, added: “It doesn’t get much bigger than the 30th anniversary, so we’re delighted to offer the millions of fans who enjoy EastEnders on BBC iPlayer each week, this exclusive treat.”

EastEnders continues Tonight at 8.00pm on BBC One.
