Channel 4 have revealed their Christmas line-up which includes festive specials of some of their most-loved programmes

The incredibly popular First Dates concludes its current run with a Christmas Special focusing on faces that we’ve seen in the restaurant before. Bearded supermarket worker Luke, fireman Paul and eccentric theology student Louisa will all be hoping to find love as they step through the doors of Fred’s establishment once again.

Plus some of the series’ more successful pairings return to catch-up with Fred and reveal what happened next in some of the show’s finest love stories. The couples including Sian and Nick, Adam and Dan and Naomi and Jo will all be toasting Christmas together but one returnee will surprise their partner by getting down on knee. Suffice to say this will be a Christmas that one couple will never forget.

Gogglebox Kids is a new version of the BAFTA-award winning series as we find out what the nation’s youngsters think about the key moments of 2015 from The Great British Bake-Off to Cecil the Lion. Youngsters will also be the focus of The Secret Life of Children at Christmas as some of the favourite faces from the Secret Life of Four Year Olds return to put on a very special Nativity Show.

The World’s Most Expensive Christmas looks at the network of bespoke, high-end suppliers of luxurious Christmas gifts and decorations as they try to ensure their clients enjoy the super-rich spirit of the festive season. Meanwhile there will also be Christmas specials of The Supervet and The SuperShoppers the latter of whom are on hand to give the consumers handy advice on how to have a frugal Christmas.

Fans of Jimmy Carr will be in luck as he features heavily on Channel 4’s schedules with specials of 8 Out of 10 Cats and 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown airing alongside The Big Fat Quiz of The Year and The Big Fat Quiz of Everything.

Finally, Alan Carr is on hand with his annual festive specials with the first airing on Christmas Day and the second planned on New Year’s Eve.
