AMC and Netflix have released the first long trailer giving starved Breaking Bad fans a first look at the prequel/spin-off/drama/comedy of it’s own merit Better Call Saul.

The series, which arrives on Netflix on Monday 9th February introduces us to attorney James Mcgill before he became the infamous Saul Goodman fans met in season two of Vince Gilligan’s critically acclaimed Breaking Bad.

he trailer follows other clues that have been left by the show’s creators, Vince Gilligan and Peter Gould, who were behind AMC’s popular Breaking Bad.

In July Gould revealed that Better Call Saul, named after the lawyer’s catchphrase in Breaking Bad, would be set in 2002 but would likely feature nonlinear storytelling, and may touch upon the events of Breaking Bad, which happened six years later and featured Walter White’s descent from high school teacher to meth cook kingpin.

Better Call Saul arrives on Netflix on Monday 9th February 2015.
