This week San Diego is a buzz with people in costume and getting selfies with their favourite stars. Yes, it’s Comic Con again! This year’s Comic Con has seen a lot more UK stars jetting off to San Diego to preview their shows. One of the more exciting/intriguing panels at this years event was the Sherlock panel.

We already knew that the upcoming festive special would see Holmes and Doctor Watson transported back to the Victorian era but fans have now being given their first proper glimpse of what the special looks and feels like.

Co-showrunner Steven Moffat recently revealed that the decision to use a Victorian setting was based purely on his desire to see Holmes and Watson in their traditional era.

We’ve got, I think you can safely say, the Sherlock Holmes and Dr Watson of a generation – we want to see them do it in the proper outfits, just once,”

Sherlock is expected to return at Christmas on BBC One.
