House of Dragon renewed for a second season.

Following the successful launch of episode 1, it has been confirmed that House of the Dragon will be returning for a second season. The series available exclusively on Sky and NOW in the UK has received strong critical acclaim. Based on George R.R. Martin’sFire & Blood,” the series, set 200 years before the events of Game of Thrones, tells the story of House Targaryen.

Additional cast includes Milly Alcock, Bethany Antonia, Phoebe Campbell, Emily Carey, Harry Collett, Ryan Corr, Tom Glynn-Carney, Jefferson Hall, David Horovitch, Wil Johnson, John Macmillan, Graham McTavish, Ewan Mitchell, Theo Nate, Matthew Needham, Bill Paterson, Phia Saban, Gavin Spokes, Savannah Steyn.

The first episode nearly crashed US streamer HBO Max when it launched last week.
