ITV have confirmed the start date for Simon Cowell’s new cooking series which some may think is strikingly similar to the BBC’s massive hit The Great British Bake-off. The series entitled Food Glorious Food sees normal everyday people competing to get their original recipe into the shelves of Marks & Spencer. The winner will also receive the £20,000 prize. As this is a Simon Cowell project the contestants will be judged on their efforts. The judging panel for the series consists of food writer Tom Parker Bowles, former MasterChef contestant Stacie Stewart, ex-MasterChef host and food connoisseur Lloyd Grossman and vice-chairwoman of the WI Anne Harrison.
The series will be hosted by Loose Woman Carol Vorderman and will start Wednesday 27th February at 8.00pm on ITV
