After complaints following its early timeslot, and confusing scheduling over Christmas things never really looked good for ITV’s Jekyll and Hyde. It came as little surprise when yesterday creator Charlie Higson announced that the show would not be returning for another series.
Sad day today as ITV announce they don’t want any more #JekyllandHyde Ah well, I tried. It was a grand adventure while it lasted.

The show never really found an audience and delivered disappointing ratings, ending with 1.8m.
ITV had billed the series as an ‘early evening family show’, but I think there was possibly a disconnect between what Higson wrote and what ITV wanted.
