ITV2 have announced that they have recommissioned popular sitcom The Job Lot for a third series.

Originally starting on ITV, Clare Downes, Stuart Lane and Ian Jarvis’ job centre comedy moved to ITV2 last year. Filming is set to commence in March whilst stars Russell Tovey, Sarah Hadland and Jo Enwright will also return.

The second series ended with Karl (Tovey) finally get together with sexy deputy manager Natalie (Laura Aikman). The third series will see the couple discover just how difficult it is to have a relationship in front of all their colleagues, and a very demanding boss.

ITV’s comedy commissioner Saskia Shcuster said of the news, “we’re really happy to bring back this delightfully warm comedy set in a Midlands job centre.  The scripts are yet again superbly written as we catch up with our favourite characters”.
