More names added to Death Comes to Pemberley

Following the announcement that Anna Maxwell Martin (Elizabeth), Matthew Rhys (Darcy) and Matthew Goode (Wickham) will star in Death Comes To Pemberley, BBC One and Origin Pictures are delighted to confirm further stellar casting for this dazzling adaptation, including: Jenna Coleman (Doctor Who, Dancing on the Edge) as Lydia Wickham, Trevor Eve (Kidnap and Ransom, Waking The Dead) as Sir Selwyn Hardcastle, Rebecca Front (The Thick of It) as Mrs Bennett, James Fleet (The Vicar of Dibley, Little Dorrit) as Mr Bennett, Penelope Keith as Lady Catherine de Burgh, Joanna Scanlan (The Thick of It, Stella) as Mrs Reynolds, Tom Ward (Silent Witness) as Colonel Fitzwilliam, Eleanor Tomlinson (The White Queen) as Georgiana Darcy and James Norton (Doctor Who, Cheerful Weather for the Wedding) as Mr Alveston.

Adapted by Juliette Towhidi (Calendar Girls) from PD James’ internationally bestselling novel, this and 3×60-minute serial will be made for the channel by Origin Pictures and directed by BAFTA award-winning director Daniel Percival (Dirty War, Place Of Execution).

Filming Begins this Month in Yorkshire.
