Variety is reporting that Netflix has ordered a second eight-part of their comedy drama Russian Doll.
The series, written by and starring Natasha Lyonne centred around Lyonne’s character Nadia continuingly dying on her birthday party. The series seemed designed to be a one series show so it’ll be interesting to see where the seemingly finished story can go in a second season.
The first season of Russian Doll, which dropped on the streaming service in February was critically acclaimed and we labelled it “the first great show of the year.”
Russian Doll is set to return to Netflix in 2020.
