‘Sherlock’ Return confirmed by the BBC

Earlier this week we reported that the highly anticipated return of Sherlock was to be expected over Christmas. Today the BBC have confirmed the third series will start on New Year’s Day 2014.

The first of the three episodes is entitled The Empty Hearse and will see Sherlock re-appear following his apparent death last year.

Sherlock returns New Year’s Day on BBC ONE.
