The Apprentice is back, and it’s bigger than ever!!

This morning saw the press launch of the tenth series of BBC1’s The Apprentice. The series, which returns next Tuesday is set to be the biggest ever with twenty boardroom competitors all vying for Lord Sugar’s investment.

One of the joys of The Apprentice are the ludicrous quotes each contestant makes about themselves. Here are some of the best.

“The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams.”

” I am the pioneer and the ground breaker, and I possess all the talents to succeed.

“I’m fearless, and if I don’t shut up about something, you should just trust it’s a well thought out decision.”

“I can deliver in minus 50; I can deliver in plus 10. If we went to Mars right now, I’d find a way to be excellent.”

The Candidates range in age from 22-36 and although they come from different working backgrounds they all share that key Apprentice ingredient: unbelievable self belief! 27 year old Daniel Lassman, the director of a Pub Quiz company boasts “I will out-sell them, I will out-class them and I will perform the best just by being me.” Whilst  36 old Peterborough Fashion Retailer Nurun Ahmed says “I’m the type of person that doesn’t take five hours to do one job, I do 20 jobs in five hours.”

Despite the surplus of candidates the show will run for the standard 12 weeks and the BBC have confirmed that an eleventh series is already in production.

The Apprentice returns Tuesday 9.00pm on BBC ONE.
