We’re over excited that The IT Crowd is returning soon for a forty minute final episode.

Creator Graham Linehan announced the news during a Q&A at the German re:publica digital conference.

The Forth series was shown in 2010 but it has been confirmed in an article with Bleeding Cool that this final episode of the popular comedy will film in “three weeks time.”

It is expected that the original cast which includes Chris O’Dowd, Katherine Parkinson and Matt Berry will reprise their roles.

Linehan had previously confirmed that the series was unlikely to ever return for a full fifth series and it is unclear when this final episode will transmit on Channel 4.
