9.00pm Granchester ITV – James Norton and Robson Green reunite for a third series of the gentle crime drama set in 1955.

9.00pm The Island with Bear Grylls Channel 4 – Old and young go head to head for the fourth series of Bear Grylls’ epic survival show. Marooned separately on a pair of remote tropical islands in the Pacific, with just the clothes on their backs and a handful of basic tools, which generation has what it takes to survive when pushed to the limits of human endurance? 9.00pm Genius Sky Atlantic – Academy Award winner Geoffrey Rush stars as Albert Einstein in a compelling series charting the life of one of history’s greatest minds. With Emily Watson.


9.00pm Trump’s 100 Days BBC1

9.00pm Little Boy Blue ITV – Four-part drama from Jeff Pope telling the real life story of the murder of 11-year-old Rhys Jones in Croxteth, Liverpool, in 2007. It explores Melanie’s and Steve’s ordeal, and tells the story of how Rhys’s murderer and associates were eventually brought to justice. Stephen Graham stars.

9.00pm Paul O’Grady: For the Love of Animals India – ITV – In this new two-part series, Paul O’Grady heads to India for the first time in his life, to rescue and rehabilitate some of the country’s vulnerable wild animals and experience the jobs of the keepers and conservationists who are looking after them.
