8.00pm Into the Fire Dave – Observational series following the valiant work of the West Midlands Fire Service. Birmingham’s Gay Pride Parade is under heavy security days after the Manchester Arena bombing.

9.00pm Emergency Helicopter Medics More4 – This new series follows some of Britain’s busiest air ambulance teams as they race to bring the hospital emergency department to the roadside. In this first episode, two motorcyclists need specialist care, as the helicopter medics try to save the life of Pete, while Tom may have a serious spinal injury. And a woman is kicked in the face by her horse.


8.00pm Springtime on the Farm Five – Peter Wright, Adam Henson and Lindsey Chapman reveal what happens at Cannon Hall Farm in Barnsley during the busiest time of year – Spring. Gloria Hunniford recalls her childhood much of which was spent on her granny’s farm, Kelvin Fletcher visits a dairy farm in Sheffield, and former boyband member JB Gill talks about his change in lifestyle after becoming a farmer.

9.00pm Secret Agent Selection: WW2 BBC2 – Five-part immersive history series, which revives the training programme of one of World War Two’s most covert organisations. In episode one, the students face SOE’s demanding selection process. Known as the Student Assessment Board, this intense four-day course puts the students through a series of physical and mental tests, all with the aim of finding out who has the raw talent required to progress to full training. The programme charts the beginning of SOE, which started with a handful of agents, in an organisation determined to find a way back into Nazi controlled Europe.

8.00pm This Time Next Year ITV – Davina McCall is back with a new series of the life-transforming programme.

8.00pm Class of Mum & Dad Channel 4 – Primary school education has changed dramatically in recent years, and in this brand new series a class of parents are going to experience what it’s like for their kids as they go back to school. For half a term, these parents will study the year six curriculum alongside their own children. They will have the same regime, school uniform, homework, school dinners, participate in PE, art, music and dance lessons as well as face the same discipline if they misbehave. In the first episode, it’s the first day of term and the pupils of Blackrod Primary School gather in the school hall for morning assembly led by head teacher Mr Dryburgh. He announces a brand new class is starting this term – their parents. To start their new class, teacher Mrs Mead gives them a maths test, to gauge their abilities.

9.00pm Made in Yorkshire Five –  Lord Prescott explores the factories making some of the region’s best-loved foods. Whitakers Chocolates produces 2m confections a day, while the machines at Heck! Sausages can create 1,200 bangers a minute. Prescott works alongside the staff at both factories to learn how it’s done.

9.00pm Gotham E4 – The fourth series of the US drama telling the origin story of DC Comics’ super-villains and vigilantes comes to E4

9.00pm My Floating Home More4 – My Floating Home returns for series two with presenter Mark Evans charting the adventures of various families and couples as they give up living on land and design and build unique homes that can float.

11.15pm Generation Screwed? BBC1 – George Lamb travels across the UK meeting the young people whose voices have been left out of the mainstream media debate.
