US return date for Sherlock confirmed

A new article from Entertainment Weekly states that the hugely anticipated third series of Sherlock will be shown on PBS in the US on the 19th of January. Though no date has been confirmed by the BBC, the article does state that the BBC has ‘first window’ rights’ meaning that we’ll see it here before the 19th! As you can imagine any details pertaining to the third series are thin on the ground but this is the first really glimmer of hope that we’ll be back in Baker Street soon.
