Zig & Zag to return to TV

Media site Broadcast are reporting that iconic 90’s puppets Zig and Zag are set to return to TV.

The pair, who made their name on The Big Breakfast are to return in a cartoon wrritten by creators Ciarán Morrison and Mick O’Hara and is set to follow the pair’s life in the suburbs after a crash landing on earth.

Morrison and O’Hara will also voice the characters, with former Coronation Street star Debra Stephenson also part of the voice cast.

Zig and Zag is expected on CBBC next year.
