The Custard TV is run by and for people passionate about television. We’re always looking for like-minded people to join the team.
Enthusiastic telly fans just like you have used their experience writing for The Custard TV as a step to writing professionally. Some of our team have gone on to work for newspapers and magazines such as The Metro, Radio Times and other paid freelance work. As the site is Luke’s passion project we can’t offer payment but we can offer really exciting perks like getting to see hot new shows early, attending screenings and Q&As be they virtual or in person. We also regularly get the chance to interview writers, actors, directors, and producers.
Your article, your interview, or your guest appearance on our weekly podcast means a by-line on the website and exposure for your work across all our social media channels.
Worried about qualifications? Don’t be! We’re looking for people with creative writing skills and a passion for television to write reviews of new shows. Now is an exciting time for us as we’re branching out to give you the chance to write long-form pieces on the shows that have shaped your taste in television and really mean something to you.
Whether these are old classics, forgotten gems or new obsessions, we have space for it all on The Custard TV. Fans of all genres are welcome.
We’re not looking for professional writers. We want to connect your passion for television and desire to write about your favourite shows with our platform and give your writing as wide an audience as possible.
Sounds like something you’d like to do? Great! Fill in the form on this page and you could be joining the team.
