8.30pm Robbie Williams: Reel Stories BBC Two – The singer sits down with Dermot O’Leary to look back at the key moments of his life and career through 30 years of archive clips, from his pre-boyband days on stage in Oliver!, through to his recent homecoming show at Port Vale. The programme also takes in the break-up of Take That, Williams going solo at Glastonbury, his ground-breaking Knebworth concert, and the triumphant Take That reunion tour with Gary, Mark, Jason and Howard.

8.45pm The Unforgettable June Whitfield Channel 5 – A profile of the comedy actress, best remembered for playing Jennifer Saunders’ mother in Absolutely Fabulous and Terry Scott’s wife in long-running sitcom Terry and June. With contributions from June’s family, friends including Rory Bremner, fans and co-stars like Jane Horrocks and Stephanie Beacham, this documentary examines how she was able to keep working well into her nineties.

9.30pm Later with Jools Holland BBC Two – Jools returns to London’s Alexandra Palace Theatre as the music show celebrates its 30th anniversary. the opening edition of this 61st series features pop rock band the 1975, singer-songwriters Self Esteem and Victoria Canal, soul band Ural Thomas & the Pain and jazz-rock band the Comet Is Coming.

Sunday

8.20pm Stanley Tucci: Searching for Italy BBC Two – Series 2 of the travelogue that sees the American actor travelling across Italy to discover more of the secrets and delights of the country’s regional cuisines.

9.00pm 1978: The Winter of Discontent Channel 5 – The story of the period of industrial action between November 1978 and February 1979 that changed the face of Britain, with contributions by Esther Rantzen, David Hamilton, Carole Malone and Alastair Stewart. With the worst weather for a decade, 13 million days were lost to strikes, with thousands of schools closed, hospitals only admitting emergency patients and the dead not being buried.

9.00pm Just Jokes Dave – A host of Black comedians and performers tell their stories about Black history and their experiences in comedy, including dealing with hecklers, prejudice on the circuit, and growing up Black.

10.00pm The Ranganation BBC Two – Romesh Ranganathan returns with the topical comedy show in which 20 members of the public of the public drawn from all walks of life are invited to share their thoughts on the state of modern Britain today. Romesh and his outspoken and passionate focus group are joined in the studio by comedian and The Last Leg star Alex Brooker.

10.00pm Night Delivery BBC Three – A soothing journey through the night while everyone is sleeping, following a delivery route from the streetlights of Glasgow city centre, through housing estates and country roads as the sun comes up, while chilling out to the sounds of a Radio 1 Relax playlist and ASMR conversation.

10.20pm Sorry, I Didn’t Know ITV – Jimmy Akingbola returns with the panel show in which guests answer questions about black history, with regular Chizzy Akudolu joined by Eddie Kadi, White Yardie, Athena Kugblenu, Verona Rose and Babatunde Aleshé.

10.50pm Everyone Can Rap ITV – Three ordinary people learn how to express themselves through rap, guided by rapper Youngs Teflon. Part of the Fresh Cuts strand featuring new directors for Black History Month.

Monday

7.30pm The Farmer Wants a Wife Austrailia E4 – Five farmers set out on a quest for true love, with eight women having been invited to come to meet them before they embark on a series of dates.

9.00pm The Walk-in ITV – Stephen Graham stars in this five-part drama from acclaimed writer Jeff Pope. The far right in Britain seizes on political unrest caused by the Brexit referendum and Muslim terrorist attacks, culminating in the murder of MP Jo Cox. Activist Matthew Collins from advocacy group Hope Not Hate must penetrate an ultra-far-right group planning another attack on an MP, but police intelligence on the group is hazy. All 5 episodes will be available tonight on ITVHUB.

9.00pm Live: Britain on Strike – The Debate Channel 5 – Jeremy Vine hosts a discussion about the current wave of industrial action, looking at how it is affecting the public. He hears the stories of people who have been affected by the strikes, from small businesses to daily commuters, while those taking part and union leaders explain why they feel such measures are necessary.

10.00pm The Big Blowout E4 – AJ Odudu hosts the contest in which experienced hairstylists compete in a series of extravagant challenges that pushes their creativity to the limits, judged by Sam McKnight and Lisa Farrall. To kick things off, the stylists must create a design for the Masterpiece challenge themed This Is Me.

Tuesday

8.00pm Trawlermen BBC One – Docuseries. Ocean Pride targets shipwrecks off Cornwall in pursuit of pollack, and Margaret of Ladram hunts for lucrative dover sole in the English Channel. Meanwhile, off the Yorkshire coast, crabber Tydus welcomes a greenhorn to the crew.

9.00pm Paxman: Putting Up with Parkinson’s ITV – Jeremy Paxman’s story of living with Parkinson’s disease, as the presenter allows cameras into his life for the first time since his formal diagnosis 18 months ago. He speaks to other high-profile people living with Parkinson’s, meets Jane Asher, the President of Parkinson’s UK, attends an English National Ballet therapy dance class and learns to play bowls. He also meets experts who are at the leading edge of research, including observing a brain dissection – as well as the woman who, scientists believe, can smell the presence of the disease in others.

Wednesday

The Bear Disney+ – Ten-part comedy-drama that follows Carmen “Carmy” Berzatto (Jeremy Allen White), a young chef from the fine dining world, who comes home to Chicago to run his family sandwich shop – The Original Beef of Chicagoland – after a heartbreaking death in his family. A world away from what he’s used to, Carmy must balance the soul-crushing realities of small business ownership, his strong-willed and recalcitrant kitchen staff and his strained familial relationships, all while grappling with the impact of his brother’s suicide.

8.00pm Car Pound Cops Channel 5 – Docuseries following the work of recovery crews as they trace, track and tow vehicles driven illegally on Britain’s roads.

9.00pm Ralph and Katie BBC One – Spin-off of Peter Bowker’s drama The A Word beginning with a double bill. Young couple Ralph and Katie face the domestic challenges faced by all newlyweds – but with the added fact that they have Down’s syndrome. When Katie invites recently dumped friend Emma to stay, Ralph soon feels pushed out. Their newly hired PA, Danny, tries to help, but things backfire and Ralph must win Katie back. Romantic drama, starring Leon Harrop, Sarah Gordy, Craig Cash and Pooky Quesnel. Continues at 9.30pm with the full series available on BBC iPlayer tonight.

9.00pm Head On: Rugby, Dementia & Me BBC Two – Former England hooker Steve Thompson discusses being diagnosed with early onset dementia and reveals the devastating physical and mental impact that his career has had on his health, his family, his work and his day-to-day life. In a moving and personal film that asks challenging questions of the sport he loved so much, Steve meets brain experts, former teammates and journalists, and a new generation of professional rugby players worried about their long-term brain health. Filmed over a year, these revelations are interwoven with Steve’s own personal story charting his ongoing life with dementia and revealing the emotional impact his diagnosis has had on him and his loved ones.

9.00pm The Body in the Bag Channel 5 – Documentary. The case of Gareth Williams, a GCHQ employee on secondment to MI6, who was found dead inside a padlocked duffel bag in the bath of his London flat in 2010. The case has become one of the biggest unsolved mysteries in recent British history, and even now, 12 years after Williams’ death, the public are still waiting for answers as to what happened to the 31-year-old codebreaker. Through interviews with former detectives, forensic investigators, MPs and people who knew Gareth, along with archive footage and reconstruction, this documentary re-examines the case in a bid to get to the bottom of the events that lead to Williams’ untimely death – asking did he act alone or were other forces involved?

9.00pm Sexsomnia: Case Closed? BBC Three – When unexpected sleepwalking claims turn a rape case on its head, Jade fights back. Finding herself suddenly at the heart of an unprecedented legal case, Jade goes on a mission to prove it’s a mistake and overturn the decisions in her case. But can she win? Filmed over three years, this is the remarkable story of one woman’s battle for justice.

9.00pm Matt Baker: Our Farm in the Dales More4 – Return of the documentary following Matt Baker and his family. The clan’s farm is more manageable than ever before, but as the worst storm to hit the area in living memory strikes, many of the changes they’ve made have been destroyed.

Thursday

8.00pm Unbreakable BBC One – Rob Beckett hosts, as five famous faces and their partners are put through a series of mental, physical and emotional challenges to test their relationships, hoping to prove that there’s will prevail as the strongest. Taking part in this first edition are comedian Stephen Bailey, Loose Women star Denise Welch, plumbing tycoon Charlie Mullins, Falklands veteran Simon Weston and BMX racer and track cyclist Shanaze Reade. It’s off to the lake for their very first challenge where they attempt to build a bridge across the water in their pairs.

9.00pm The Antiques Yard More4 – Series following Antiques and reclamation yard owner Daniel Dawson-Gordon and his team as reclaim, restore and repair items – bringing the unloved back to life and selling them to new homes.

10.00pm Jon Richardson: Take My Mother-in-Law Channel 4 – The comedian sets about finding his mother-in-law Gill somewhere to retire to – and quickly – before she moves in with him. Armed with his GCSE in Spanish and the cheapest car rental he can find, Jon takes her on a road trip across Spain to find her the perfect place in the sun. The only problem is that Gill wants to grow old disgracefully. Cue a journey that takes in sex, drugs and rock ‘n’ roll – with some guns and cats thrown in for good measure.

10.00pm Fugget About It Comedy Central – Adult animated comedy about a former Mafia member who joins the witness protection programme and is sent to live in Canada. With the voice of Tony Nappo.
